Babies are such beautiful little people aren't they? They're so innocent and they rely on us to do everything for them. They are so precious and every minute you spend with them just fills you with joy.
Being a grandmother I've been able to experience the feelings all over again and it's even more wonderful the second time around.
I get to spend a lot of time with my grandchildren and before we tire of each other they go home! What a wonderful arrangement!
The time I spend with them is quality time as I'm not trying to juggle other children, housework or work. I'm also a lot more relaxed with them.
When you first see a smile and they recognise you, it's just a fantastic feeling.
I know I'm very lucky to have grandchildren to spoil as I have friends who keep waiting and waiting for grandchildren and it's just not happening.
I hope, if you have grandchildren too, that you get as much pleasure from them as I do.
